#1- 10 Easy Steps

When deciding whether or not to participate in a VFC project, there are many questions that are asked repeatedly by administrative officials. Below are the most common and important ones. However, if there are still unanswered questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. We are always here to help make our teachers and school administrators feel comfortable with this program.

#2- VFC Clay Art Project Sign-up

Call or email Barbara Webb, School Liaison to get access to the sign-up form. 631-375-8225 or barbara@vesselsforcharity.org

#2a- Instructional pamphlet on “How to Create Knee Pot”

For those teachers who do not have access to IT equipment we have created this pamphlet for you with easy to follow instructions.  Once you have decided to start your Vessels for Charity project, a link to #3, #3a and #4 will be emailed through Barbara Webb.

#3- Submit when starting project

Print and complete this form to let us know the date your project begins, the number of students participating and the charity your group will be supporting.  We use the information in this form to assist with local media coverage.  Return to us via email (scan) or snail mail.

#4- SAMPLE Friends and Family Fundraiser Letter to Parents

To get the parents/guardians/community on board with the Vessels for Charity project your students are involved with, we created a letter outlining how they can extent their support.

#5- Record of Funds Distribution Summary

We have made the process of distributing monies from fundraiser easier with this form.  Follow the example that is laid out for you.

#6- Information for Media Release

This is a guideline to help you spread the word about your Vessels for Charity project to local media.

#7- Student Media Release

If you plan on any form of media in the classroom during your Vessels for Charity project this form needs to be send home with student for parental approval.

#8- Community Service Record

Participating in a Vessels for Charity project, students are eligible for Community Service.  Use this form to keep tract of   students who have completed the project and who will receive a certificate. This can also be used to identify students who are eligible to apply for Vessels for charity scholarships.

#9- Community Service Certificate

Once students have completed a Vessels for Charity Project,  community service certificates are given, these may be printed or saved to your computer, to complete and share with students.
